The talk + workshop “Empowering Creativity and Inclusion: HCD Design Toolkit” will be led by Industrial Designer, Juan Ignacio Piedras, an expert in humanity-centered design. With an MFA in Industrial Design from Parsons School of Design and departmental honors, Ignacio, a faculty member at Universidad de Monterrey, brings extensive experience in sustainable and impactful design practices. This workshop will share cross-cultural findings and personal perspectives to explore how barriers and similarities between both countries can help create belonging for all through design.

Ignacio’s work is profoundly influenced by the concept of belonging, driving him to develop solutions that have positive social impacts.
