An Introduction to Inclusive and Accessible UX Writing
An Introduction to Inclusive and Accessible UX Writing
To write inclusive, accessible copy, UX writers must write with the user in mind, as well as recognize the cross-disciplinary nature of their work. They must stay up-to-date on sensitive and straightforward language usage and its relationship with design and code.
In this talk, I will use real-world examples of UX copy, provide resources that UX writers and teams can refer to when ideating and iterating, and address some of the hurdles and pushback that UX writers and other stakeholders often face when advocating for an inclusive user experience.
