Quint Gallery was founded by Mark Quint in 1981 to exhibit contemporary art by emerging, mid-career and established artists. ONE opened in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, a new concept that was designed to exhibit a single, monumental work of art at a time. In 2021, Quint Gallery opened another space in La Jolla, just a block away from ONE, to exist as the hub for all things Quint Gallery, including The Museum Of__, book and print publishing imprint Quint Editions, as well as a gift shop and library.

Visit Quint Gallery’s La Jolla space for a tour of New Sculpture: Adam Belt, Christopher Puzio, and Chris Thorson, a group exhibition of new sculptural work centered around materiality and its function. For these new sculptures, Belt, Puzio, and Thorson concentrate material into essential compositions and forms, engaging in dialogue around labor-intensive processes and fabrication. Some of these sculptures activate the space through the use of shape and shadow, while others activate an awareness of the light in the space in which they are exhibited.
