Richard Leplastrier - Framing the View (Trailer)

San Diego Architectural Foundation (SDAF) presented by Thompson Building Materials is a quarterly event that showcases advance screenings of critically acclaimed art, architecture, and design films from around the world.

During San Diego Design Week attendees will have the opportunity to see Richard Laplastrier: Framing the View featuring Richard Leplastrier, one of Australia’s most influential and internationally awarded architects.

This documentary follows the very private, but charismatic Leplastrier as he designs the Blackheath house that epitomizes what he has learned over 50 years and the influence of his mentors, namely the Danish architect, Jorn Utzon (Sydney Opera House); the Australian artist, Lloyd Rees; and the Japanese professor, Masuda Tomoya.
