Talk or Interview Designing Classrooms that Foster Friendship and Fun
Talk or Interview Designing Classrooms that Foster Friendship and Fun
Generation Z has a pandemic of depression and anxiety, which is being driven by screen addiction. Suicide is now the 2nd leading cause of death for 10-24 year olds. Classrooms need to change in order to change this generation’s tragic trajectory.
Our nonprofit, A Primally Playful Foundation, trains teachers on how to design classrooms that foster friendship, sense of belonging and frivolity, while also improving focus for academics. We give them the the tools to manage their mental health.
I will be hosting an interactive Zoom presentation and talk in which I will explain our program, show footage from our work with orphanages and schools in Ghana and Guatemala and how they’re impactful, and have the viewers participate in some of the games we use. There will be some Q & A time at the end.
