Young Girl Scouts earning their Bronze Award (ages 11-12) will share their perspectives on leveraging design to address pressing issues regarding the crisis in overwhelmed animal shelters in San Diego and Tijuana.

Experience a live demonstration of their innovative prototype app for pet owners, designed to make an impact on the pet crisis in our region and discover how humanity-centered design can be a powerful tool for solving real-world challenges.

Learn about key collaborations with community partners and how an older Girl Scout mentored the troop and will develop a new educational design badge.

Whether you are a pet lover, a design enthusiast, or simply passionate about supporting the next generation of changemakers, this event is for you! Be inspired by the creativity of our Girl Scouts as they lead the way in designing a better future.
