Time to ask anything and get inspired by your fellow designers: Join us for an evening full of good questions, a-ha’s, and new connections in the form of speed mentoring, where emerging designers connect with industry leaders, corporate execs and leaders, independent practitioners and firm owners, for rapid round robin sessions across design disciplines.

Program flow:
5-5.30pm – Welcome
5:30-6:30pm: Speed-mentoring sessions start. 5-10 minute cycles. 4-6 cycles, depending on the final mentor/mentee numbers.
6:30-7.00pm: Closing the sessions & Goodbye, transitioning to Design Trek’s closing event, walking distance.
This is a low-key, one-on-one conversation format where you can gain insights from each other. This experience is designed with fostering collaboration in mind where we create BELONGING through one-on-one conversations in an easy-going and introspective-friendly environment provided by Futuro, Hillcrest. Embrace belonging and join us for an evening of learning, sharing and community building!

Seda Evis
Seda Evis is a seasoned design strategist and business leader, specializing in organizational transformation, revenue growth, and digital innovation across diverse sectors including technology, life sciences, healthtech, consumer goods, and more. She has led initiatives such as envisioning future mobility for Nissan, co-designing longer life initiatives with Amazon and The SCAN Foundation, and developing digital experiences for HP, Danaher, Teradata, and GE. Seda’s leadership extends to community and education through roles at Design Forward Alliance and UCSD’s Design Lab, and as an adjunct professor at University of San Diego, where she earned her MBA. She holds degrees in Urban Design and Planning from Middle East Technical University and an MBA from University of San Diego.
