Design Exhibition Como si mi coyote viviera aqui / As if my coyote lived here

Perro y Arena and Dear Tomorrow, invite you into an imagined home. In this group exhibition, artists come together to create collaborative pieces and spaces where a coyote might inhabit, not the animal itself, but the spirit of perro y arena.
The Dining Room
A table is set. Candles flicker. Ceramics rest patiently. The flowers decorate the space while guests arrive. A feeling of something about to happen. This is a place for gathering, for sharing experiences, for laughter. The coyote is the host, and the table becomes the place where the wild and the familiar meet. All the parts, plates, runners, come together to create something that feels both welcoming and alive.
The Meditation Room
A quiet space to just be. The air is soft with the scent of incense. Low furniture invites you to sit and breathe. The colors are calm. Here, the coyote doesn’t host, he listens, stretches out, closes his eyes.

About the Host

perro y arena

We are a ceramics and design studio based in Tijuana, Baja California, México. Inspired by the mystical flora and fauna of the desert of the Californias.

The different clays and colors we use reflect the textures and tones of the landscapes, the deserts, beaches and hills. Through our animal figurines, we invite you into a spiritual and mythological world, where one is welcomed to dance with coyotes and hares, while serenading the moon.
