Designing with Impact: Lessons from the Wild
Discover how nature’s genius is shaping the future of design. Designing with Impact showcases 8–10 small posters pairing plants or animals with the real-world innovations they’ve inspired—from whale fins that helped reimagine wind turbines to desert beetles that taught us to collect water efficiently.
This exhibit celebrates biomimicry—where design meets biology—to highlight how nature offers not just beauty, but brilliant, sustainable solutions. It’s a beautiful reminder that good design doesn’t just look good; it positively impacts the lives of our grandchildren. Come be inspired by the species leading the way toward a cleaner, safer, and more resilient future.
