Design Exhibition El Gráfiko Re:Mixed

Design Exhibition El Gráfiko Re:Mixed

A remix of the iconic World Design Capital San Diego Tijuana logotype, El Gráfiko Re:Mixed brings together artists and designers from both sides of the border in a layered exhibition of visual reinterpretations. From playful transformations to sharp critiques, the collection honors the original logo’s cross-border spirit while exploring authorship, identity, and civic symbolism.

The exhibition will be accompanied by an informal talk or walkthrough unpacking the origins of the logo and how its evolution reflects the cultural forces shaping our region.

Part design showcase, part cultural conversation, El Gráfiko Re:Mixed invites us to see branding as a living, remixable language — open to participation, reinterpretation, and collective meaning-making.
