Galina Semenova is an award-winning fine art portrait photographer and founder of the Womanity Portrait Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women recovering from life-altering challenges through healing-centered photography and storytelling. Her work explores themes of self-acceptance, transformation, and personal sovereignty. Drawing on her background in holistic practices, Galina creates immersive experiences—such as her Self-Portrait as Divine Reclamation workshop—that invite participants to reclaim their narratives and celebrate their essence. Born in Russia and based in San Diego, her projects have been featured internationally in exhibitions and integrated into public art programs and community collaborations throughout Southern California and beyond.
