Workshop/Demo CERAMIC PUZZLE WORKSHOP
Workshop/Demo CERAMIC PUZZLE WORKSHOP
The San Diego-Tijuana border region is not just a line on a map; it’s a vibrant tapestry of cultures, histories, and identities that converge and intersect. By using the creative expression serving as a bridge between communities in the San Diego-Tijuana area, this interactive and collaborative project invites participants to create their own individual ceramic puzzle pieces, each painting their self-portraits on ceramic tiles using the vibrant colors, symbols, and figures that represent their rich cultural identities.
By inviting participants to create their own unique pieces, we will celebrate the spirit of belonging in all its forms and encourage the sense of belonging, solidarity and diversity ensuring that each person feels seen, heard, and valued within our shared space. Together, we’ll weave a mosaic of unity that embraces every voice and every story. No experience is required! Suitable for ages 7 and up.
