About the Host

KLAMAN & CO, HOME OF AFRICA.

Johanne Gnagne, the visionary founder of KLAMAN & CO, is on a mission to redefine African cultural representation. Raised in the vibrant city of Montreal before immersing herself in the rich tapestry of Cote d’Ivoire, Johanne’s multicultural upbringing sparked a deep appreciation for the diverse beauty of African heritage.
Driven by a desire to bridge the gap between perception and reality, Johanne identified a glaring absence of authentic African experiences in the cultural landscape. This realization served as the catalyst for the creation of KLAMAN & CO, affectionately known as the “Home of Africa.”

Combining her innate passion for her heritage with her extensive expertise in Project Management, Johanne meticulously crafts each event and educational program offered by KLAMAN & CO. Her meticulous attention to detail ensures that every experience curated by the company is imbued with authenticity, excellence, and inclusivity.
Outside of her role as founder and CEO, Johanne is deeply engaged in her community. Serving as the Parent Teacher Organization Director, ELAC Liaison Director, and Coordinator for a Christian Non-profit, she demonstrates an unwavering commitment to education and empowerment.

At KLAMAN & CO, Johanne envisions more than just filling an industry gap—she envisions reshaping the narrative surrounding African cultural representation. With a steadfast dedication to authenticity and a relentless pursuit of excellence, she invites individuals from all walks of life to join her on this transformative journey.

KLAMAN & CO isn’t just a brand—it’s a movement. It’s a call to arms for those who believe in the power of culture to unite, inspire, and empower. Under Johanne’s leadership, KLAMAN & CO is poised to become a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change in the realm of African cultural representation.
