Explore the Bay to Park Paseo, a 1.7-mile walk from San Diego Bay to Balboa Park with engaging exhibits by volunteer designers, artists, and storytellers. Join us in celebrating our tri-national region and connect with the environment and each other.
The Bay to Park Paseo Walking Experience will be led by the presenters and creators of the Paseo along with the designers of several of the installations.
About the Host
Pete Garcia and Beth Callender of URBAN INTERVENTIONS and E. Chloe Lauer
URBAN INTERVENTIONS is a nonprofit established by Beth Callender and Pete Garcia that creates and funds public art and placemaking installations and events to transform underserved places with innovative, high-impact, fast and low-cost interventions. Pete had a long, successful career as a designer, builder, developer, and owner of real estate projects. Beth had a career in marketing communications co-owning Greenhaus an award-winning marketing firm.
E. Chloé Lauer is the Executive Director of the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition. She co-founded the non-profit, Walk n Roll San Diego, and collaborates with community-based organizations, agencies, and business districts.
