Arroyo Solís Agraz Architects- Rosa Agraz (partner)
Rosa Agraz, born in Mexico City in 1980, is a prominent architect whose academic background and professional trajectory place her as a notable figure in the fields of architecture and design. She completed her architecture studies at Universidad Iberoamericana between 1999 and 2004. Subsequently, she furthered her knowledge with postgraduate studies in “Creative Management and City Transformation” at the prestigious Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and C+ between 2007 and 2009. Her commitment to academic excellence is reflected in her successful completion of diplomas in Contemporary Art from L’École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and in the new development model from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
During her tenure as a design professor at Universidad Iberoamericana from 2006 to 2011, Rosa demonstrated not only her academic prowess but also her ability to impart knowledge to new generations.
As one of the founding partners of Arroyo Solís Agraz, Rosa has made a significant mark in the field of interior design. Her dedicated focus on office projects reveals a keen sense for identifying prevailing fashion and design trends. Her leadership skills have been crucial in orchestrating and overseeing the construction and organization of pavilions, projects noted for their tight deadlines and limited financial resources.
Since 2020, Rosa has been based in California, USA, where she has diligently expanded the professional activities of Arroyo Solís Agraz. She has actively participated in residential interior design projects, including the Muun concept store in Solana Beach and the My Montessori school in Coronado. Her presence in California has added an international dimension to her already distinguished career, solidifying her as an influential figure in the world of design and architecture.
Additionally, Rosa Agraz recently achieved acclaim as the Muun project received the PRiSMA 2004 Interior Design Award in the commercial category. Furthermore, she will serve as a jury member for the SDAF Onions and Orchids 2024 architecture competition and the Firenze Entremuros 2024 architecture competition organized by the Mexican newspaper Reforma.
