Proposed Name of Event/Feature*

Please enter the name of the event to be used in the event's listing. Keep this brief, direct, and engaging. This is the first intro guests browsing event listings will see.

Event Description*

Please enter the description for your proposed event/feature. If your event is selected, this copy will also be used in the website event listing (75-150 words) Describe to guests what they will experience and why they should attend. If applicable, outline the timing and schedule for activities. (Event final copy and photos/graphics will be due on June 30th).

We encourage submissions that align with the theme of Design for Everyone. This year's theme, Design for Everyone, is an invitation for all of San Diego to explore and celebrate design. Design shapes everything around us: what we wear, the spaces we live in, the products we use, the digital world we navigate, and the culture we enjoy, yet too few people get to see it up close. Design Week 2026 is a celebration of world-class design across every discipline, packed with exhibitions, workshops, and experiences that let you see, touch, and understand the craft behind the things you love. Whether you want to sharpen your skills, connect with San Diego's creative community, or simply be inspired by exceptional design, this week is for you.

Special Considerations

If you have any specific needs to support your event, please let us know. This can be spatial requirements (for a performance or exhibit), audio/video, or other. Please note that we are not able to provide services like translation, live streaming, moderation, etc. You are responsible for those things.

Date*

If you are self-hosting an event, please tell us the date, during the week of Sept 15-20th. If you are planning for more than one date, enter a start date and then contact us at info@sddesignweek.org

Time*

For self-hosted or virtual events, please enter the timing of the event (e.g. 5-7pm).

Proposal Image Attachments*

Please upload at least one image (4:3 aspect ratio) that can be used for the cover tile of your event. You can add up to 4 more that will display on your event page.
